Joe Hansen, president of the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union has come out in support of a "living wage" for "all Americans". He pinpointed $10.10 in exchange for one hour of labor as a definition of "living wage".
Question for Mr. Hansen. If an unemployed American food worker is unable to obtain work in today's $7.25 minimum wage environment how will she obtain work in the economy of the $10.10 mandated wage?
